Location

Mollymook Beach is one of the South Coast's most popular beaches. This beautiful beach has golden sands and ideal conditions for experienced surfers, body surfers and anyone who's keen to learn how to surf.

The Headlands at either end of the beach offer protection on windy days, the grassy reserves behind the beach are perfect for picnics, relaxing and watching the kids at play. There's BBQs at the park near the Surf Club with sheltered tables, great views of the beach, play equipment for the kids and a basketball court.

There's great surfing spots including "The Reef", "The Golfy ", "Collers Reef" or Crystals (Southern end of Mollymook beach only works in a big swell) and safe swimming can be had at the patrolled section in the Southern Corner or at the Bogey hole ( a short 2 minute stroll through the golf course and to the left of the car park - follow the path way) Mollymook Bay (a short stroll through the beachside golf course) is great for snorkelling and there's plenty of marine life to see including resident dolphins.

Mollymook has two beautiful and scenic golf courses - the 9-hole Beachside Course (a short 2 minute walk from SEA BREEZE) and the 18-hole Hilltop Course which is a 3 minute drive away.

The shops at Tallwood Ave offer a Local IGA, bakery, butchery, deli (they have great food here there lunches are fresh and there cakes and slices are awesome) fish and chip shop, bottle shop, chemist and newsagency and the famous Tallwood Eatery. Bannisters Pavillion hotel is also here and offers a roof top pool and poolside bar serving light meals, Rick Steins famous restaurant at Bannisters by the Sea on the Headland is a 10 minute stroll up the hill and also offers a day spa and poolside pizza bar which is open to the public.

Narrawallee inlet is a 5 minute drive away and offers safe waters for swimming especially for little ones and at low tide the hermit crabs are lots of fun to play with. It’s a great place to try stand up paddle boarding and there's a park with new play equipment, free BBQ's with shelter and a toilet block.

Fishing and whale watching are also popular activities. Whale watching and dolphin watching tours are available in the area or at Jervis Bay and you may even be lucky to view them whilst your at the beach. Ulladulla lighthouse (at the end of Deering street) is a great place to watch the Whales as they make their annual migration North (April - August) and on the return South (September to November)

Ulladulla is a vibrant town that is a 2.5 - 3 hour drive from Sydney and Canberra, with shops including 4 supermarkets (Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and IGA) banks (ANZ, Commonwealth, Westpac, St George and Bendigo) restaurants - I can recommend Thailand Only for the best Thai, The Mango Tree has the most amazing Indian, South Street Chinese for Chinese and the bests Cafes are, The Tree House is great for breakfast, lunches (the most amazing and fresh sushi on a Thursday only) and coffee and they also host a themed dinner once a month for which bookings are essential, The Boardwalk Cafe has great meals and coffee as well. Clubs include the Ex-Servos and the Milton Ulladulla Bowling Club both have curtesy buses to pick up and drop you back home, Ulladulla Twin Cinema's are perfect to watch a movie on a rainy day, play ten pin bowling at the Dunn Lewis Centre, visit the library and the Visitors Centre which is across from the harbour with its fishing fleet, The leisure centre on Green Street has a full gym and indoor/outdoor swimming pools and tennis courts are located next door.

Burrill Lake is a 5 minute drive south of Ulladulla and is great for swimming, fishing , stand up paddle boarding and has a great park for the kids to play in whether it’s on the play equipment, riding a bike (you can do this on a footpath from Golf Ave all the way to Burrill Lake, this would take about 20 minutes) or playing a game of footy. There's a great covered area with picnic tables in case of wet weather or protection from the sun and there's free BBQ's as well. The shops across the road have a news agency, IGA Supermarket, and Café that does great coffee, on the other side of the bridge (north) you will find the Burrill Lake Fish and Chip shop - they make the best fish and chips in the area.

Climb Pigeon House mountain, go bush walking, there's so many different walks in the area, visit the blueberry farm at Termeil (Clyde River Berry Farm) and pick your own blueberries (from December - January) and while your there you have to try the blueberry ice-cream its delish!!!! Charter a fishing boat or visit one of the many secluded beaches in this beautiful area. The opportunities are endless. So much to see and do or just relax its up to you.

Milton The historic township of Milton enjoys the beauty of a rural setting and is only minutes from the coast, and is a hive of activity with a mecca of gift and homewares shops, fantastic food, great coffee and colourful characters. Try a bliss burger at Pilgrams vegetarian restaurant, or a pizza at the Milton Woodfired Pizza Place, the markets are held once a month on the first Saturday of every month and for the live music fan checkout the Milton Theatre for their live music acts, the acoustics are amazing. There is also St Isidores restaurant at Milton who have been awarded one star by the esteemed Gourmet Traveller magazine and ranked 6th in the Best of NSW Regional Restaurants in their 2016 Restaurant Guide, they have also been awarded a coveted one hat by the SMH Good Food Guide 2016. They offer a laid back, hillside restaurant in leafy surrounds with a focus on local produce and premium wine, the food here is amazing as are the gardens and the view, a great spot for lunch or an early dinner in summer.

Local Beaches included Mollymook, Narrawallee, Rennies, Racecourse, Dolphin Point, Wairo, Tabourie & more. Or try patting the kangaroos at Pebbly Beach.

Lakes & Rivers- Lake Conjola, Narrawallee Inlet, Burrill Lake (fishing, sailing, waterskiing), Lake Tabourie, Clyde River

Meroo & Murramurang coastal parks. Try the South Pacific Heathland reserve walk situated between Rennies and Racecourse Beach Ulladulla (great for the kids) or the Wildflower reserve next to the Leisure Centre in Green Street, Ulladulla.

Water sports include surfing, stand up paddle boarding (hire available from next to the fish and chip shop at Burrill Lake) swimming, snorkelling, diving, kayaking, water skiing and fishing.

Timbertops at Termeil (about a 20 minute drive south) offers horse riding of 1 or 2 hour trails with guides.

Day outings include Batemans Bay (1/2 hour drive south), The Historic township of Mogo which has the famous Mogo Zoo or you can pan for gold at Old Mogo Town they also have great gift shops and cafes including a fudge shop which has the most amazing fudge you've ever tried (45 minute drive south), Whale & Dolphin Watch Cruises- Jervis bay (45 minute drive north), 4WD Tours, and fishing charters.
